Gentle Movement Yoga


Great for beginners. It does move at a slow and steady pace. Asanas are primarily floor-based, reclined or seated with few, if any, standing poses. In gentle yoga, you move your body in a gentle comfortable way; it encourages movement without the potential for strain. Poses are generally held for over 30-90 seconds  each, and you utilize pillows and cushions for comfort. This yoga class is appropriate for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga. Find energy, strength, and flexibility while staying kind and gentle to yourself.

This class is designed for those who are new to yoga. We will show you a few of the common yoga poses and explain the benefits of the posture. Get your questions answered, walking away feeling confident.

Vinyasa Yoga


Suitable for all levels. Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement.” Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Vinyasa has both physical and mental benefits. Physically, sweat releases toxins and re-energizes our bodies. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes the chatter of the mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout our bodies. This helps relieve anxiety and stress. When your mind is relaxed, you tend to lose more weight. Vinyasa Yoga is also called a moving meditation. This is a slower-paced flow class geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a slightly gentler class. Time is spent breaking down sun salutations and other poses fundamental to a Vinyasa practice. Props and modifications offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures.

Hot Yoga


Good choice for intermediate yogis. Hot yoga is a modern yoga performed under hot and humid conditions, resulting in considerable sweating. Hot yoga rooms can vary in humidity and are generally heated to anywhere from 80 -100 degrees. The heat produces a fluid-like stretch allowing for greater range of movement. Your muscles and connective tissue become more elastic and will help you to go deeper into a yoga pose as the body becomes more flexible with less chance of injury. The breathing exercises in hot yoga can actually help train your lungs to retain more air. Deeper breaths force them to expand more than usual, which allows for more oxygen to enter the blood stream and get to the other organs. A 60 minutes Hot yoga class can burn between 200 - 600 calories, Benefits of hot yoga include: You tend to burn calories due to an increased heart rate and metabolism.
